Hello all! New here and loving TagTool so far! Hope you don’t mind my first post being a request but it would be amazing to be able to offset HSV on layers (and even better, animate them) in the Animate screen. Whether it’s to offset duplicates, or even give colour to basic white assets. I just bought Fernando’s course on Domestika, and he includes a zip file of basic gradients in several base colours, but if we could just tint imported images (or native vectors) we could just have a deck of fewer white assets that are usable in many more situations than a large bank of specifically coloured ones.
BTW, is there a TagTool discord? I only found one expired invite in a post here, is discord no longer used?
Hello, I’m also new to TagTool and recently took Fernando’s Domestika course. I completely agree with what you’re proposing—being able to apply and animate an HSV offset would be incredibly useful.
Another feature that could add a lot creatively would be the option to work at 12 or even 8 fps, to achieve a more stop-motion-like feel. The “erratic” quality of the movement could actually become a very strong stylistic asset.
Additionally, I would love to see the possibility of erasing over a group to create masks, while keeping the animations contained within that same group. This would open up many compositing possibilities directly within TagTool.
Thank you for the great work, I’m really enjoying the tool.
FPS control would be great - heck why not make it animatable You could use frame rate creatively maybe. I like the idea of erasing over groups, or at least, some kind of clipping group that masks to the bottom layers shape (like Fernando’s eyeball, if you just had a circle as the bottom layer, everything above would be clipped until ungrouped - but this should be a different kind of group to normal, maybe two finger tap on group button?), the bottom layer could also be a normal layer (nested) and/or contain animation, to make animated clipping masks!
